Punjab Curriculum & Text Book Board has announced Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) due to outbreak of corona virus covid-19 Govt has decided to shorten the syllabus as school were closed during lockdown and made smart syllabus for Class 1 to 10th for Punjab Examination Commission and All Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Educations.



Due to outbreak of Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic the decision has been taken to reduce the syllabus of all classes because less than 6th months are left for the educational year 2021 and it is very difficult for students of PEC , Primary and High Schools to cover whole the syllabus. That’s why to facilitate the students and teachers, selected & short listed courses have been prepared for the  Annual Exam year 2021.

A critical review of Smart Syllabus was conducted under the chairmanship of Dr. Zulfiqar Saqib. Fifteen senior teachers from District Lahore also have participated in this committee to review the Accelerated Learning Program syllabus.

Smart Syllabus for all classes of Primary & Secondary Schools for Session 2020-2021 Punjab Education Boards. The School Education Department Government of the Punjab has prepared a smart syllabus for the students of all Public & Private , primary , Middles and High  School grade from class 1 to 10. There will be 50% fewer contents of courses for the students. The Examination will be taken from this Accelerated Learning Programme (ALP)  Course.

Smart Syllabus for Class 1st to 5th (Primary Grade Classes) 2020 (Accelerated Learning Programme ALP)

Punjab Curriculum & Text Book Board (PCTBB), Lahore has prepared Accelerated Learning Program syllabus (ALP) in which syllabus for Class 1 to 5th has been reduced and accelerated. Students will now only prepare selected and accelerated listed prepared by for the coming Annual Examination 2021. Furthermore, all the exams will be held according to the previous year schedule and there will be no relaxation given for session extension.
