GRANT OF ADVANCE INCREMENTS TO ENGLISH TEACHERS

I am directed to refer to your letter No. FD.SR – V.21-47 / 2012 / 23981 dated 06.11.2020 on the subject cited above 2 . The case was examined in the Department and observed that the Hon’ble Court’s in a number of writ petitions have allowed advance increments to appellants on the basis of higher qualification .

The same is also upheld by the apex Court of Pakistan . Therefore , some of the English Teachers are getting the benefit of advance increments on the basis of higher qualification 3 . In view of the above , the department proposes that the benefit may be extended to all those English Teachers who are at par with those who have been granted the relief .
