DIRECTIONS REGARDING PUBLIC SECTOR UNIVERSITIES
I am directed to request you that following directions may be implemented, in letter and spirit, without fail:
No Teaching Staff shall be engaged in the University during the Closure till 5th April, 2020.
The Vice Chancellors may only engage the Non-Teaching (Administrative Staff), only to meet the minimum requirements. It is advised that only Skeleton Staff in the VC and Registrar Office plus Hostel Wardens may only be engaged.
All Universities must get their hostels vacated by TODAY, 8:00 PM. In case, if any student intends to leave any of his belongings, those must be stored in some separate store rooms, under the supervision of respective Hostel
Wardens and the student be provided with some Token/Slip, with which he can claim back those belongings after the University Hostels re-open.
All the Vice Chancellors are requested to personally ensure compliance of above said directions and confirmation report may be submitted to this office, today, positively.
