REQUEST FOR SEEKING CLARIFICATIONS REGARDING PAYMENT OF EXECUTIVE ALLOWANCE TO THE OFFICERS OTHER THAN THOSE POSTED BY S&GAD

PAYMENT OF EXECUTIVE ALLOWANCE:I am directed to refer to this department’s letter No.FD.PR. 12-7/2018 dated 29.07.2019 regarding grant of Executive Allowance @1.5 times of monthly basic pay w.e.f. 01.07.2019.
2. The Government of Punjab has granted the said allowance to all officers posted by S&GAD against duly notified cadre strength/ list of officers in light of the approval of the Competent Authority vide the above-referred letter. Certain queries raised by different forums regarding admissibility of Executive Allowance, have been examined and are being clarified as under:-
