ATTESTATION OF DEGREES FROM HIGHER EDUCATION COMMISSION
(HEC) ISLAMABAD FOR REGULARIZATION OF EDUCATORS RECRUITED
IN THE YEAR OF 2017

Subject:

In continuation of this Office’s Memo No. 851/Admn dated February 29, 2020 on
the subject cited above:

It is stated that this office requires files of all ESEs and SESES (All Categories)
recruited in 2017 under Recruitment Policy 2016, issued vide Govt. of the Punjab, School
Education Department No. SO (SE-IV) 2-50/2015 dated September 9, 2016, for regularization
under The Punjab Regularization of Service Act 2018, further amended vide The Punjab
Regularization of Service (Amendment) Act 2019 (Act XXIII of 2019).

In this regard, you all are hereby advised to provide degrees of all educators,
recruited in 2017, attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad. It will be
mandatory for all educators to provide photocopies of degrees i.e. BA/B.Sc., BS (Hons)
MA/M.Sc. and B.Ed/M.Ed/MA Education etc., having original attestation stamp of HEC
Islamabad.

For this purpose, all educators will apply for degree’s attestation on
http://eportal.hec.gov.pk. After completing their profiles, they will apply for degrees &
transcripts attestation along with attestation of photocopies of degrees only. After attestation
of original degrees & transcripts and photocopies of degrees, all educators will provide original
photocopies of degrees having attestation stamp of HEC Islamabad to this office.

It is further intimated that District Scrutiny Committee may direct any educator to
produce her original degrees & transcripts attested by HEC Islamabad during scrutiny of files
for regularization.

6:

All Assistant Education Officers Marakez (W) District Vehari will facilitate all
educators working in Elementary Wing, in applying for degree’s attestation. All DDOs of
Secondary Wing will also facilitate their educators in this regard. All educators will be personally
responsible for getting attested their credentials from Higher Education Commission (HEC)
Islamabad.
