APTIS TEST OF PRIMARY TEACHERS TEACHING ENGLISH IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS

English as a Subject for Teachers and Educators (EaSTE), a collaborative project between Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development (QAED), Punjab and British Council, English for Education System (EES) Pakistan has been signed between the two parties, Governor of the Punjab through Director General, QAED and British Council on 30-03-2022 after getting approval from the Punjab Cabinet Committee on Legislative Business.
The project will focus on enhancing English language skills of public Primary School English Teachers in the Punjab. This will improve English language skills of primary students studying in public schools. To analyse English language training needs of primary teachers, British Council has planned to conduct Aptis test (English Language Proficiency Test) of 470 primary public school teachers teaching English in the Punjab. The test will be conducted on 12th and 19th June, 2022 at SKANSS in 5 Districts in the Punjab. The Aptis plan is given as under:
