ACTION AGAINST TEACHERS AND HEADS WITH POOR RESULTS
EDUCATION DEPARTMENT WILL TAKE ACTION AGAINST TEACHERS AND HEADS HAVING POOR RESULTS
The School Education Department Punjab is going to take actions against the heads and teachers of the schools having poor performance in the SSC/matriculation board examination. SSC/Matric board examination results announced on July 31, by all 9 boards of intermediate and secondary educations.
The School Education Department has requested the records of Secondary schools and high schools having poor performance in current annual matric results 2023. Actions will be taken against the school heads and teachers having low results from the relevant education boards.
Pass percentage of current year 2023 of the many boards has been around 80%, actions will be taken against the teachers and school heads who have less than 74% results in annual exam matric 2023, the final decision of the action will be decided by the Secretary of Higher Education Punjab. Students with low marks or failed in different subjects in the matric examination will be able to retake the examination in supply examinations of next annual examination 2024.
As per education board officials, the failed/ improving candidates will be able to send their online admission to the board by August 12 2023. Admission can be sent by students till August 12 and with double fee till August 16, after ittriple fee admission will be received till August 19. According to the latest policy, fresh candidates will also be able to take the exam and they can submit the admission form to the board office along with applying online, the boards have started preparations for the supplementary exams 2023.
